Crustdata supplies structured business data for software and AI agents. Its APIs cover companies, people, jobs, web content, and social posts. The product is aimed at teams building research, sourcing, or enrichment workflows rather than a general-purpose writing assistant.
What you can build
A sales application can search for companies that match its criteria, then enrich a known company with additional attributes. A recruiting workflow can search people and job data. Research tools can use the web APIs to search sources or retrieve page content.
Crustdata also offers MCP access for agents. This gives teams a choice between integrating REST requests into their software and connecting supported agent workflows to the data service.
A practical starting point
Begin with one entity and one task, such as finding a company by name or enriching a known record. The documentation separates search, enrichment, and identity resolution, with filters and pagination for larger result sets. This distinction matters: finding matching records and refreshing a known record are different operations.
Access and limits
API requests require an API key and an API-version header. The documentation distinguishes indexed datasets from live retrieval; live endpoints are enterprise-only and depend on the plan. Social-post access is enabled on request.
Do not assume that every result comes from a fresh live lookup or that every endpoint is included in an account. Confirm endpoint access and rate limits before designing a recurring data pipeline.
